Vanessa is a Research Fellow at Epigenes Australia. Vanessa obtained her PhD at The University of Melbourne and has held post doctoral fellowships at CSIRO, The University of Melbourne and The University of Oxford developing a broad breadth of techniques from biophysics to neurological physiology to untangle brain research challenges. At Epigenes Australia, Vanessa will contribute to the research investigating molecular/signalling changes in the brain induced by calorie restriction (CR) by using brain imaging techniques, such as molecular MRI, for real-time scientific insights. Further, she will verify potential drug targets found through epigenetic sequencing with immunohistology.
