Dr Jacqueline Kaiser

Jacqueline is a neuroscientist with a background in molecular life science and neurodevelopmental research. Her PhD research focused on studying the impacts of calcium/calmodulin-dependent kinases on brain function and behaviour, aiming to gain a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying bipolar disorder and autism spectrum disorder. She holds a BSc and MSc in Molecular Life Science from the University of Lübeck, Germany, and has experience in molecular and cell culture techniques, phosphoproteomics, and behavioural assays to evaluate mood, memory, social interactions, and motor coordination in rodent models. She has authored publications in peer-reviewed journals and presented her work at conferences.

Jacqueline is passionate about advancing our understanding of mental health disorders to improve treatment options. At Epigenes Australia, she is part of the cellular neuroscience team, where she works to contribute to the development of innovative therapies for mental health conditions.
