Elizabeth is a Senior Researcher at Epigenes Australia where her principal role is scientific writing, contributing to the dissemination of research findings through peer-reviewed publications. She holds a PhD in Behavioural Neuroscience from La Trobe University. She has a long-standing interest in the relationship between the brain and behaviour and, specifically, in identifying molecular targets for the amelioration of mental illness, substance abuse, and obesity. She has a record of contributions to scholarly research as evidenced by several articles in peer-reviewed journals.
